Передняя поверхность глаза белого цвета называется склерой. В норме склера имеет белый или беловато-розовый оттенок.

Существуют общие и глазные болезни, при которых цвет склеры меняется на желтый или появляются желтые пятна в глазах.

Пожелтение всей склеры глаза - это симптом такого состояния как желтуха. Желтуха возникает, при нарушении обмена билирубина.

По разным причинам не происходит выведение билирубина печенью, и он начинает накапливаться в коже и в слизистой оболочке глаза, вызывая изменение цвета глаз.

Любые общие причины, которые привели к появлению желтого цвета глаз требуют проведения тщательного обследования организма и оказания медицинской помощи.

После того, как диагностирована основная причина, которая привела к появлению желтого пятна в глазу необходимо ее лечение.

В случае невуса, пациенты просто наблюдаются. Птеригиум и пингвекула на начальных стадиях лечится назначением увлажняющих капели и гелей.

Если присутствует покраснение и раздражение то проводят курс противовоспалительной терапии.
