Rules for submission of articles

"Ophthalmologic Journal of Kazakhstan" has been published since 2002 and the order of the Committee for Supervision and Attestation in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 21.01.2006. It is included in the list of scientific publications recommended for the publication of scientific papers.

Articles and information messages submitted for publication in the "Ophthalmological Journal of Kazakhstan" must comply with the following Rules: The articles and information messages highlighting significant events and current problems of medical institutions, departments, clinics (news, anniversaries, conferences, etc.) are accepted for publication.

The volume of original articles, including tables, drawings, literature and summaries, should not exceed 8-10 pages; Reviews and lectures - 10-12 pages; Cases from practice, rationalization proposals, reviews - 2-3 pages; Short messages - 1-2 pages.

The article should be signed by all authors, indicating the author's last name, first name and patronymic, with which the editorial office will maintain correspondence, his address, telephone and other possible types of contacts (e-mail, for example) and the chairman of the regional section (head of the institution). The output specifies: the name of the work; Initials and surnames of authors; The name of the institution in which the work was performed; city.

The article can be written in Kazakh or Russian and should be accompanied by 4-6 key words and a summary (12-13 lines), set out in Russian, English and Kazakh. The abstract should be presented on a separate sheet. The summary should briefly reflect the main content and conclusions of the work. It is necessary to indicate the full title of the work, the surnames and initials of all authors.

The following order of presentation should be observed in the article: UDC, the title of the work, the initials and surnames of the authors, the name of the organization where the work was done, the city; The sections are divided into: introduction, material and methods of research, the results obtained and their discussion, conclusion, conclusions.

The article is submitted to the editors in hard copy in one copy and in the electronic version. The article should be printed with a one and a half interval version of Word 6.0 and above, the font size is 14 items, including tables, literature, signatures under drawings, summaries.

At the author's request, his contact phones, E-mail or other types of communication can be published in a separate footnote.

Original articles of a scientific and theoretical nature are built according to the traditional plan with the following headings: goal, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions or conclusion.

Surveys, lectures, practical and methodological articles to help a practicing ophthalmologist are built according to a free plan. The presentation of the article should be clear, without long historical introductions.

The medicinal substances used and the methods of their administration must be approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and allowed for clinical use. Materials on new devices, instruments and instruments used in ophthalmology should have the permission of the Commission for New Medical Equipment of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Graphs, histograms and charts, executed in the format of Word, Excel and other applications, are submitted to the editorial office in electronic form. Graphs, histograms, charts and other illustrative materials are desirable to be executed in color with the number of the figure.

Microphotographs, photographs, slides, negatives can be black-and-white or, preferably, colored. It is advisable to provide the editorial offices with original illustrative materials (microphotographs, photographs, slides, negatives, etc.). If the original illustrative material is exclusively in electronic form, it should be presented in TIFF format with a resolution of at least 600 dots per inch for graphics and 300 for photo images.

Signatures to drawings are presented separately at the end of the article or in a separate file. They include: a) the name of the picture; B) an explanation of the meaning of all conventional symbols for curves, letters, numbers, etc. In the signatures to microphotographs, the method of coloring (or impregnation) of the material and an increase are indicated.

The text and margins of the article should indicate the places of figures and tables (Fig. 1, Table 1, etc.). Places where tables and figures are placed in the text are marked with squares in the field to the left. In the boxes numbers of tables and figures are put.

Tables should have a name, be compact, clear, the headings of the graph should exactly match their content. All figures in the tables must match the figures in the text and be processed statistically.

Abbreviations (except generally accepted) are not allowed. Symbols of special terms at the first mention are given in full.

The bibliography lists only works related to the issue under discussion in Russian and foreign languages: the surname and initials of the authors, the title of the work, the publishing house, the place and year of publication, volume, number, issue, pages and other areas and elements of the bibliographic description (GOST 7.1-84 "Bibliographic description of the document"). The bibliography should contain domestic.
